Stereoscopic 3D
Stereoscopic 3D
Stereoscopic photography is a hyper-sensory viewing experience that is different from our normal viewing state. It is a "hyper-reality" where liquids look like acrylic, light can be used to paint in space (not just drawn side to side in 2D but forward and back adding depth in 3D) and motion blur creates volumetric shapes. Click on “n-color” to view experimental color stereopairs that were created by painting with colored light with the 3D camera.
With special effects and trick 3D stereo photography, gravity can easily be distorted and 3D space can be manipulated or bent. It is Holliday’s passion to experiment with these intriguing aspects of working with stereo vision and creating art in 3D. Under “show 09” is the show, “Parallels”, a series of stereopairs displaying the similarities between the human body and images found in nature. Although the pictures are all natural and they do not feature any real human body parts they are questionably mature for young viewers and perhaps are not suitable for children 14 and under. Parental guidance is suggested.
