Presented are a series of intriguing and provocative drawings in 3 dimensional stereoscopic (3DS) space, an art-form that presents a separate image to each eye with subtle variance in perspective, creating binocular vision and the illusion of three-dimensional depth. This illusion of depth makes objects appear to be in front of, in the middle and or behind the presented plane (such as a theater, book, card or viewmaster).

As a traditional artist, photographer and animator with 20 years of experience in 3D digital fields (video games, scientific visualization & 3D animation), Holliday is using 3DS digital techniques to create pictures that look like “drawn sculptures” that feel as though they can be touched and handled in a floating virtual space. Beginning her 3DS research on supercomputers, Holliday continues her research as an independent experimental artist, working on new techniques daily to push the envelope of 3D art and photography.
